Here we are, The Perkins Family. We are a happy little family of three. We currently reside in Utah. Ryan and I met July 24, 2002 while I was on a date with a mutual friend. I was quite taken with Ryan. After hanging out as friends for a couple of months, we started dating exclusively.This was in October of 2002. We were engaged on Thanksgiving 2002 and were married March 25, 2003. Yep we only knew each other 9 months before we were married, and have never looked back. We both believe we have found our very best friend! After an awesome seven months of marriage we learned our sweet Olivia Natalia would be joining our family in June 2004. We were ecstatic! Being parents was something we had talked about often. Olivia brings so much love and joy into our lives. She is a great source of laughter.
We also own two dogs, a Boston Terrier, Winston, and a Pug, Georgia or Uga, depending on who in the family you ask. :) They are both great dogs and wonderful with children. Winston is very affectionate and low key. Georgia is a people dog who is usually glued to the side of whoever is sitting down. Olivia is quite fond of her puppies and can often be found making videos of all of them together.As a family we enjoy spending time together. We love going on walks, reading books, watching movies, and playing outside. Our most treasured memories happen together. We recently took our first Disney vacation and had the time of our lives. Olivia was very excited some of our extended family was able to come with us as well. We are also looking forward to the warm weather and camping season this coming year, as well as a BIG family reunion at a cabin with Natalie's side of the family.
We are very active members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Ryan and I are very honored to be able to teach some of the 5 and 6 year old children. They bring so much sunshine into our lives. It never ceases to amazes us what a child can teach you. It has been a wonderful experience to watch these children learn and grow. We are also very fortunate to have Olivia in our class. Each Sunday morning she is anxious to get to church and see her friends. We are so glad we live in a very family oriented neighborhood where children abound!
